Double-twist buncher MSDN/MSDC

SKET Double-Twist Bunching Machines were developed for the stranding of steel roping wires.

A stable design, patented wire and strand guidance as well as optimum treatment and loading of the steel wires guarantee a highly effective, productive and reliable stranding machine system, which enables excellent strand quality at stranding speeds of up to 120 m/min.

Robust machine construction, patented wire and strand guide systems and optimum treatment and stressing of the wire ensure a highly effective, efficient and reliable stranding machine sys-tem enabling the production of excellent quality strand at speeds up to 120 m/min.

SKET-Double-Twist Bunchers provide the optimum approach for the manufacture of

  • elevator rope strand
  • strand for crane ropes
  • conveyor belt reinforcement strand
  • strand and spiral ropes for the automobile industry
  • strand for steel cord
  • small diameter wire ropes

Areas of application

Dependet upon requirement and application, SKET-Double-Twist Bunchers are designed either as OUT-IN-machines type MSDN:

  • great flexibility – the number and size of the wire pay-off bobbins is independent of the machine size
  • used in conjuction with long length pay-off bobbins up to 1000 kg or wire coils, the system ensures high machine running efficiency
  • reduced investment costs when compared with tubular stranding machines

or as IN-OUT machines type MSDC:

  • very compact machine design and high speed operation
  • strand quality can be observed and controlled from outside the working area
  • very low energy and space requirement
