With over 150 years of experience, SKET Verseilmaschinenbau GmbH is one of the world‘s leading suppliers of machinery for the cable and steel rope industry. A member of the WILMS Group since 1997, we are represented with our services and products
in over 35 countries on 5 continents. On a 40,000 square meter site and a production and assembly area of more than 10,000 square meters, we design and manufacture proven standard machines, new and further developed machines, and special machines for cable and steel rope production.
Throughout our company‘s history, generations of outstanding technicians and engineers have repeatedly shaped our company – such as Hermann Gruson and Friedrich Krupp. Our status is defined by the combination of decades of tradition with technological innovations. The roots of mechanical engineering in our region of Magdeburg date back to the mid-19th century. The name SKET originally comes from the term “Schwermaschinenbau” (heavy machinery construction).
